Get To Know Grime Law LLP

It is not every day that you encounter a law firm equipped to protect your real estate investment as well as your career as an actor, writer, or musician, your non-profit organization, or your consumer interests. But that’s what we do at Grime Law LLP.

We know that our law firm is unique, focusing on the practice areas of construction defect litigation, public interest law, and entertainment law and litigation in Los Angeles and throughout California, as well as the state of Hawaii. Our knowledge and experience make the services we offer possible. What began as friendships in law school and at a large law firm, we have grown into a team of passionate, zealous attorneys who are aligned behind a common goal: Help people by doing the right thing.

We have more than 10 years of construction litigation experience, 17 years of experience litigating public interest matters, and we have personally been involved in the entertainment industry. If your dream home is becoming a nightmare, a legal entanglement is getting in the way of your creative talent, your civil rights and best interests are being threatened by predatory actions, or you seek to form or need legal support for a non-profit entity, you can rely on us.

Our Team

Dylan D. Grimes is our founder and managing partner. Regarded as a leader, Mr. Grimes has more than 15 years of total legal experience and has been named to the Super Lawyers list for multiple years, both as a Rising Star and a top-rated entertainment and sports lawyer for Studio City. The Super Lawyers distinction is limited to less than 5% of all lawyers nationwide. Over the course of his practice, he has achieved significant success assisting his clients with matters in contract negotiation, drafting and enforcement, litigation, in both intellectual and real property disputes, and other legal matters.

Along with being a highly effective trial attorney, Mr. Grimes has extensive experience handling mediations and negotiations to help his clients resolve their issues and find favorable agreements, in a manner that is far more economical and less time-consuming than traditional litigation. Whether inside or outside the courtroom, he maintains an unwavering focus on protecting his clients’ rights and interests, and has earned consistent top rankings and endorsements from his peers for his outstanding professionalism and service.

After graduating from The University of Vermont in 1999, Mr. Grimes attended Vermont Law School and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2004. He holds a license to practice law in California and Hawaii, and is an active member of several local, state, and national legal organizations, including The State Bar of California and the Hawaii State Bar Association.

A lover of music, he started his career as a radio DJ and a manager for many prominent bands, as well as a production manager for a music venue in San Francisco. He is an avid surfer and skateboarder who prefers spending his time on the pavement or in the waves as opposed to a gym. He also loves yoga and spending time with his dog Cobain.

Bradley J. Epstein regularly participates in continuing education seminars as a lecturer on construction defect litigation and community association law. He is an author of published articles for community association trade organizations such as California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He is an active leader in both CAI’s California North Chapter and legislative co-chair of California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC).

Mr. Epstein’s primary focus is to establish long-term relationships with his clients by providing community associations with complete, clear, timely, and proactive legal services at reasonable rates.

Paige Tomaselli met Mr. Grimes at Vermont Law School while they both studied environmental law. It was from this common passion that their friendship grew into the legal partnership they maintain today. Ms. Tomaselli has dedicated her 17-year career to defending the rights and best interests of individuals, non-profit organizations and marginalized groups who are facing public interest issues.

Ms. Tomaselli has litigated cases before numerous federal courts — including the 4th, 6th, and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals — and she helped prepare a case that went before the Supreme Court. While she is known for showing her clients kindness and compassion, she is also known for her tough stance at the negotiation table and in the courtroom. Protecting her clients’ best interests is her top priority and she achieves this through well thought out arguments, detail-oriented research and zealous advocacy.

Susana C. Cendejas is the newest member of the Grime Law LLP team. She brings over 15 years of experience and handles many of the day-to-day legal matters our clients have in the areas of community association law and construction law. She is a dedicated attorney who has extensive experience litigating community association and construction defect matters, and she has a track record of securing successful outcomes on behalf of our clients. Ms. Cendejas’ commitment to teamwork, collaboration and zealous advocacy perfectly align with the core values of our firm, which allows us to further our mission of helping people by doing the right thing.

Lauren A. Andino is the newest member of the Grime Law LLP team.
